Our program for 18 months to 2 years emphasizes on the Montessori method of helping unfold a child’s inborn talents. Our belief is that a child is endowed with an absorbent and curious mind which can guide him/her to a radiant future. Our aim is to help every child achieve this goal.

From 2 years to 4 years the Montessori method focuses more on material and education which will develop concentration and coordination. The basics such as the alphabet, phonics, numbers and colors are taught daily. A strong emphasis is also placed on helping the child attain independence and being able to have self reliance. This admirable trait extends to the child’s home, where he/she is able to help with chores and other practical life activities.

From 4 years to 6 years the main objective is to give the child a strong foundation in reading, writing and mathematics. With a solid background in these subjects, the child is highly likely to succeed when he/she enters the public school system.

Our After-school program allows children at neighboring elementary schools to be picked up and brought back to Star. The children are encouraged to finish homework and other school assignments. Assistance is always available by our helpful staff. The children are then free to occupy themselves by a variety of ways. We have a large selection of toys and games, including Nintendo and Playstation. Arts and craft projects are always popular especially around the holidays. The children are also encouraged to take advantage of our large play area. We have plenty of field area to accommodate team sports such as soccer, basketball and baseball.
